Job Title: Computer Systems Engineer
Position Notes:
- Location: USA, NC-Wilmington Onsite
- Full-time 40 hours, 8 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and debug software required for the operation of computer systems used to manufacture optical fiber.
- Support automation and image processing systems
- Work on interfaces with control and measurement equipment
- Interact with customers at all levels in Production, Engineering and IT.
- Some after-hours on-call support may be needed
Required Education & Experience:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Physics
- 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications using .NET (VB, C#, ASP)
- Familiar with SQL queries for Oracle or other databases
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of camera systems
- Ability/experience with digital image processing and vision systems
- Familiar with integration of software and electrical hardware
Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership):
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
- Able to communicate equally well with engineers, production associates, and managers
- Self-motivated, independent, high initiative
Pay Transparency:
- This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $29.81/hour - $39.75/hour.
